Elf on the Shelf

I invite you to find something that excites you to get you through the last 33 days of the year with your health and fitness.

I have two daughters and they are in full Christmas spirit. As per schedule, my wife had all the decorations up and ready the day after Thanksgiving. However, this is the first year we have started ‘The Elf On The Shelf’ with my daughters. If you are not familiar with it, the premise of it is that there is a stuffed elf that is placed around your house after the kids go to bed and it is in a different spot each day when they wake up. They are told the elf goes back to the North Pole each night and reports to Santa and then comes back in a new spot each day to watch over them. They are supposed to name it, which they did so creatively, “Elfie”. Keep in mind they named our fish, “Fish”. We like to keep it simple in our house. Each morning when they get up they are so excited to see where Elfie is and wonder how she got there. When you have kids in the house there is such excitement this time of the year. It is really quite contagious and my wife and I have really got into it with them.

I invite you to find something that excites you to get you through the last 33 days of the year with your health and fitness. For me, every Thanksgiving my dad and I go for a run. It doesn’t matter how far or where we are but we run and spend time with each other. That is just one example. It could be exercise or it could be nutritional changes. You have 33 days left and this year comes to a close. How do you want to remember it.

Stay tuned for some BIG announcements coming this week for the end for this year and starting in January!
