What it's Like Being a Juror

Today marks my first day as a juror serving my "civic" duty. I am not a desk job kind of guy and never really have been.

Today marks my first day as a juror serving my "civic" duty. I am not a desk job kind of guy and never really have been. I am always one that needs and likes to move. It helps me think and feel alive. Being in the juror room is the ass opposite of everything I do in normal life. We sit. We wait. Then we sit some more and wait some more.
When I think about it that is what I hear so many of my clients doing at their jobs. They sit. They are on the computer. They make calls. They wait.
Being in this position for extended periods of time is a killer on my posture and body. I'm waiting for the people to start really looking at me funny when I do some stretches!
As I have come to understand everything has a purpose and there are no coincidences in life. The reason that I am here is so I can experience what so many of you experience in your daily life. What does your body feel like during the course of a day? How easy is it to lose sense of posture and revert back to a slumped position?
Next Monday the 25th I have recruited the help of Total Body Yoga to add a element of variety to your programs. If you are like what I have described above in what you do for a living, this course is for you. It is a 6-week course that focuses on the basics of yoga and movement.
Space is limited so if you are interested and want to add this to your programs please sign up NOW. I know a number of you have inquired about the course so now is the time to make that final decision.
Running and biking season are quickly approaching. Yoga will help you move better. If you move better you can move more often which means you have more time to enjoy the outdoor activities coming up this spring and summer.
