When and how did your business get started? I started out of my house close to 11 years ago. I started by letter-pressing notecards for my daughter's First Holy Communion; now she is in college studying graphic design! People kept wanting more and more of what I did, and I opened the storefront Oct. 1, 2006 in downtown Libertyville! I love this town! We have lived here 19 years! People are so genuine. The Mainstreet programs are amazing for our families.

What is your business best known for? We are known for our unique, one-of-a-kind personalized gifts! We do wedding invitations, holiday cards and one-of-a-kind gifts. We offer lots of unique items you may not find anywhere else!

Does your business offer a special deals card or program? We are a part of the Libertyville co-op passport and support local schools and non-profit organizations in so many ways! I love that part about my business - the ability to give back. Hope to see you soon! Check out my video of the inside of my old shop. It might be from a few years ago but most of the products have been staples for us! Come see new and exciting things every day.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know? My customers might not know that I have a website that you can order from and it supports me just as if you were I the store. If you need to shop local and can't make it in, please visit www.howimpressive.com. We are now open every day until Christmas with extended hours.

Why did you choose Libertyville to open your business? I wouldn't and couldn't have my shop anywhere else. The whole town is wonderful. We all work together to make it great for the community!
