Libertyville Included in List of 'Best Small Town Comebacks'

What do you love most about Libertyville?

The village of Libertyville has been listed on CNN Travel's list of "America's best small town comebacks."

The list was released March 12 on the CNN website, touting the story as being about towns that were "once down on their luck" that "have become attractions again."

Libertyville, the article says, first attempted a revitalization in the 1960s. The village is now "unveiling its old Victorian facades" and is home to things like boutiques and shops, according to CNN Travel.

Libertyville is joined on the list by towns like Coronado, CA and El Dorado, AR.

From a reader on the Libertyville Patch Facebook page: "Our family moved to Libertyville in '78, because of our children- great schools, plenty of activities for kids, safe neighborhoods, and a lovely downtown. We've never regretted the move."
