Village board trustees unanimously approved extending a six-month moratorium on the construction, installation and operation of wind turbines at Tuesday’s board meeting. Village board members agreed to extend the moratorium while Lake County Board considers a model wind energy ordinance developed by the Wind Energy Task Force of Lake County and the Lake County Regional Plan Commission. 

Libertyville police arrested a woman on drug charges after an 18-year-old man found to be in possession of drugs alleged the woman had supplied him with the drugs.
