Monday

• 10:15 a.m. Career Resource Center, 40 E Old Mill Rd, Lake Forest, is offering a workshop to discuss how to create a resume to successfully market your talents. $10 for non-members.
• All Day is offering Go Global with Crafts, a free crafts workshop, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and weekends. Bring your imagination to the library and make a craft from somewhere around the world. All supplies will be provided.

Tuesday

• 10:15 a.m. offers story times for families with preschoolers. This event is available weekly on Tuesdays.
• 7 p.m. offers a weekly support group for families who have had to take on the responsibility of caring for an adult.

Wednesdays

• 9:30 a.m. offers story time for two-year-olds with a parent or caregiver in the Children’s Early Learning/ Picture Book Area.
• 10 a.m. is hosting a morning book discussion for adults.
• 10 a.m. Lake County Discovery Museum is hosting Uncovering the Underground Railroad, an event for kids ages 5 to 12 who are homeschooled to discover what it was like to escape on the Underground Railroad.
• 1 p.m. Fresh Start of Illinois is hosting a session to teach job seekers how to use LinkedIn at 1512 Artaius Pky, Libertyville. The session is offered every second Wednesday of the month.

Thursday

• 9:30 a.m. The Story Room at the will be open on the Thursdays when there is no Baby Time Storytime for parents and caregivers to visit with each other while their babies play. Toys will be provided.
• 10 a.m. Job seekers from the Lake County area are invited to attend this mini job fair sponsored by the Career and Placement Services. The event will be held at 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake.
• 11:45 a.m. LibertyMoto Toastmasters Club is hosting a meeting at Motorola Libertyville Campus, 600 N. US Highway 45. The club will be awarding the Competent Communicator to Linda Evola after she completes her tenth speech. The club will also elect officers.

Friday

• All Day , Libertyville is offering a community free guest day featuring Corefusion classes at 8:30 a.m. at 200 W. Golf Rd.
• 8:30 p.m. American Idol top finalist from season 6, Gina Glocksen, will be performing her pop/rock music at 275 Pkwy Dr., Lincolnshire.
