Dr. Cheskis Collects 476 lbs. of Halloween Candy

Here's a sweet way to make you smile!
GLMV Chamber member and Mundelein dentist Dr. Simona Alexandra Cheskis, Gentle Care Dentistry, collected 476 lbs. of candy during Halloween to benefit Operation Gratitude, a military support group.

426 lbs. of candy were brought in by Steve Feldman and Jennifer Miller of Woodview Elementary School in Grayslake. Neighborhood children brought in their candy as well. Dr. Ira Spiro also participated. Jim LoMonaco from The Shipping Point helped Dr. Cheskis with the candy shipment.

Dr. Cheskis and other participating dentists "buy" back kids' Halloween candy at a scheduled event, with cash, coupons, toothbrushes, creative exchanges. Dentists send the candy to Operation Gratitude, which sends the candy to U.S. Military deployed in harm's way.

Thanks Dr. Cheskis for your wonderful contributions!
