Spring Storytimes Bloom in the Library

Storytimes are springing up at the Cook Memorial Public Library District in Libertyville and Vernon Hills.

The month of April brings showers, flowers, and fun stories in the library!  The spring session of storytimes for children is underway at the Cook Park Library and Aspen Drive Library. On Tuesday, April 3, children and adults enjoyed stories and songs about a favorite spring vegetable, the pea.In addition to listening and clapping and singing, the children also had an opportunity to taste this treat.

Storytimes are scheduled for mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, as well as on Wednesday nights, for a range of ages.  No registration is needed; just drop in! For a complete list of storytimes, please see http://www.cooklib.org/attend-a-program/kids-programs.

For more information, visit the Cook Park Library at 413 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville or the Aspen Drive Library at 701 Aspen Drive in Vernon Hills. Or call 847.362.2330.
