At North Shore Pro-Active Health we are all about the wellness of our patients and their families. However, there is a segment of the population who are in a situation where they cannot seek out healthcare, much less food and shelter. It is the Homeless women and children of McHenry County who receive hope, help and finally independce through the Home of the Sparrow. The program that was started 25 years ago by a Catholic Nun, has grown into two shelters, five transitional apartments, after care and FIVE Sparrow's Nest Thrift Shops.

A significant part of the work done at the Home of the Sparrow is the fight against Domestic Violence. The Sparrow's Point Program is a collaborative partnership with Turning Point to privide shelter to women fleeing a domestically violent situation.

Last year more than $12,000 was raised by the combined efforts of the awesome bachelors, the volunteers spear-headed by Dina Hart and Dr. Jordan Leasure, local business supporters who donated everything from tickets for the Chicago White Sox to dinner and a ride in the original Batmobile (Volo Auto Museum).

There is a private "Pre-Auction Cocktail Party" where guests and bidders alike get a chance to mingle and chat with the incredible bachelors.  Tickets are available on the Facebook link 2nd Annual Girl's Night Out Bachelor Auction page or through the Crystal Lake JC's!
