Chilly Monday, But Warmer Temperatures Ahead

What's the forecast for this week?

Could we finally be turning the corner in terms of warmer weather?

After a chilly start to the week, with a high of 59 on Monday, temperatures are forecast to range from the 70s to mid-80s the rest of the week. Bring on the warmth!

Here's a look at what to expect this week, according to the National Weather Service:

Monday: A high near 59, with a 40 percent chance of showers Monday night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies and a high near 84. Sounds great!

Wednesday: A near-repeat of Tuesday, with a high near 80 and mostly sunny skies. There's a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day, and a 20 percent chance Wednesday night.

Thursday: A high near 76 with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday: A high near 72 with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Saturday and Sunday: Expect to see temperatures in the low- to mid-70s both days with mostly cloudy skies. There's also a chance of showers and thunderstorms both days.
