ComEd: Isolated Power Outages Through June 25

The north region was hardest hit by power outages —15,000 homes are still in the dark.

As of 1 p.m., Commonwealth Edison has restored power for 394,000 homes across Illinois, but 19,000 homes remain without power, a company spokesman said.

The company says the northern region has been hit hardest by the power outage, with 15,000 homes still in the dark.

ComEd expects to restore power in most areas by midnight Friday, June 24, but isolated outages will continue until Saturday, June 25, according to ComEd.
