Why Go?: Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club sponsors this fun event. Entertainment, raffles, prizes, delicious food, beer, wine and pop. Help raise funds to help organizations that assist people in need such as Lake County Have, Bernie's Book Bank, Youth Conservation Corps and many, many more. Why Go?: Take a tour of a yard in Highland Park. Hear stories and advice from the homeowners. Learn how your property can be beautiful while contributing to surrounding ecosystems. This event is for adults only. Call 847-548-5989 for more information on the location of this tour.

Pricing: $8 for conservancy members; $13 for non-members.

Where/When: ; 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Friday, July 22.

Why Go?: Purchase lunch from 14 different vendors and eat at the park while listening to live music. The band, Best Kitty Ever, performs today. This event is sponsored by .

Where / When: , 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake; 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, July 22 and 23; 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24.

Why Go?: See the smash hit, Oliver!, presented by the College of Lake County departments of theatre, music and dance, and take a quick trip to 19th Century London without leaving Lake County. The show is full of memorable Broadway songs performed by local student and adult performers in the 60 member cast. (This show was rescheduled due to the recent power outages.)

Pricing: $16 for general public; $13 for CLC students/alumni/staff/seniors 65 and over.

Why Go?: Take a , sponsored by the Libertyville - Mundelein Historical Society.
