Where / When: Center Street in Downtown Grayslake; 10 a.m.  - 2 p.m.; Saturday, April 2.

Why Go?: Farm fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses and baked goods. Flowers and wine. Art and entertainment.

Where / When: Lake County Discovery Museum, 27277 N. Forest Preserve Rd., Wauconda; 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 1.

Why Go?: Celebrate the re-accreditation of the museum by the American Association of Museums with free admission all day for all ages.

Pricing: Free

 Where / When: Improv Playhouse, 735 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville; 7:30 - 8:30 p.m., Saturday, April 2.

Why Go?: Comedy show in the style of "Whose Line Is It?" with hilarious eight-member Improv Playhouse Comedy Troupe Lost Not Stolen.

Pricing: $7; $5 for IP students

Where / When: Duke's Ale House, 110 W. Main St., Crystal Lake; 2 p.m., Saturday, April 2.

Why Go?: Start out at Duke's and end up at The Brink Street Bar & Grill at about 6 p.m. for an after party and prizes. Proceeds will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in Lake Zurich which serves six area townships in Lake and McHenry counties.

Pricing: $20 in advance; $25 at the door

Where / When: Meijer, 1301 Meijer Dr., Rolling Meadows; 11a.m. - 2 p.m.; Saturday, April 2.

Why Go?: Baseball-themed food and giveaways, meet Bill Madlock and get his autograph, live broadcast of WDRV's The Drive.

Where / When: Middlefork Savanna, in Lake Forest on Waukegan Rd., North of Route 60 and South of Route 176; 6 - 7:30 p.m., Sunday, April 3.

Why Go?: Listen to the sounds of courting frogs that inhabit the waters of Lake County. Learn about the lifestyle of Froggy, the vocal amphibian, and its role as an environmental indicator. For adults only.

Pricing: $6 per adult for Lake County residents; $8 for non-residents
