Lambs Farm to Host Train Days, Clydesdales

The festivities will be held May 18 and 19.

Lambs Farm will host their annual Train Days this weekend—and the festivities will include a visit from the Budwesier Clydesdales.

During Train Days, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 18 and 19 at the Magnolia Café and Bakery, guests can operate model trains free of charge. The trains are provided by Valley Model Railroad Association.

Train Days will also feature crafts and activities, ranging from free to $4, in the Cafe. And guests who purchase a $2 ticket packet can receive various items, including a train cookie, at the Lambs Farm businesses.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are set to parade around Lambs Farm at 1 p.m. May 18, according to Jeff Knapper, General Manager of Clydesdale Operations.

"Requirements for the hitch are extensive, as each Budweiser Clydesdale must be a gelding at least four years of age, stand 72 inches at the shoulder when fully mature, weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds, have a bay coat, four white legs, a white blaze, and a black mane and tail," Knapper said in a press release.
