CCU Promotes Bonny Thomas, Jim Eisert, Jennifer Wenckowski and Anissa Ivy

Employees enthusiastic about new positions and new opportunities


Libertyville, IL, November 6th, 2012: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $585 M. Waukegan, IL) recently announced the promotion of Bonny Thomas to the position of VISA Manager at the Member-owned credit union.  Replacing Bonny as the Branch Manager in Mundelein was Jim Eisert, formerly the Counter Service Manager at CCU’s Waukegan office.  Jennifer Wenckowski replaced Jim in Waukegan, resulting in the promotion of Anissa Ivy, as the new Counter Service Manager in the Gurnee office.

Bonny Thomas returned to the credit union as a Member Service Representative in 2007, working in the Gurnee and Mundelein offices before her promotion to the Visa Department after working in Round Lake Beach earlier in her career. Bonny has an extensive background at other financial institutions and brings a great deal of experience in card servicing, issuance and fraud monitoring to her new position.  As VISA Manager, Bonny will manage the daily operations of the VISA Department, while maintaining and further developing CCU’s VISA portfolio. 


Jim Eisert joined CCU in 2007 as Counter Service Manager in the Waukegan office.  He has a wealth of knowledge as a Teller trainer, Senior Teller and VISA Representative at another credit union prior to joining CCU.  Now managing the Member owned credit union’s Mundelein office, Jim’s new duties include assuring Members receive fast, courteous and accurate Member service.  Jim is responsible for both the Member Service and Counter Service staff at the office.

Jennifer Wenckowski began her career at CCU as a Counter Service Representative in October of 2006 at the credit union’s Round Lake Beach location.  Rising quickly through the ranks, she served as both Supervisor and Counter Service Manager of the credit union’s Gurnee office.  In her promotion as Jim Eisert’s successor at CCU’s busiest office, Waukegan, her new duties include management of the Waukegan Counter Service Department, development of its staff, as well as serving as Lead Manager for the other Counter Service Managers at the credit union.


Anissa Ivy also began her credit union career in the Counter Service Department, joining Team CCU in 1997. During her 15 year tenure, Anissa’s worked her way up within the Counter Service department, gaining valuable knowledge and experience as a CSR I, CSR II and as a Counter Service Supervisor.  As Manager of the Gurnee Counter Service Department, Anissa’s new responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the Counter Service Department, training the Counter Service staff and to assure Members receive quality service when visiting the Gurnee office.
