FRANKENSTEIN

Improv Playhouse Radio Players will perform the Mary Shelley classic, Frankenstein, during the evening of Saturday, October 27th at the Improv Playhouse Theater, 735 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville.  Staged as an old time radio drama like those recorded in front of live audiences, the IP Radio Players have produced classics including “The Maltese Falcon”, “War of the Worlds” and Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”. Audiences will be immersed in a space of the epic drama which explores the hideous nature of Herr Victor Frankenstein, who wanted to expand human knowledge of the creation of life and how to stop death through the creation of his murderous “monster”.   A special dinner package has been arranged with local restaurants.  IP Executive Producer David Brian Stuart is joined by fellow SAG-AFTRA actors Michael Scott Blackman (Deerfield) and George Elliott (Hainesville), along with Nora Broz (Grayslake), Erin Clark (Crystal Lake), Eric Schaefges (Lake Zurich) and Debbie Schreiner (Mt. Prospect). Performance times: 7:30 & 9:00 (BYOB). Pre-Sale $15.00 Adults. $10.00 Seniors, Students (w/ID) & Military.  At the Door: $17.50 Adults: $12.50 Seniors, Students & Military. A $2.50 discount to costumed patrons who pay at the door only.  And a costume contest with prizes at both performances.  Visit www.improvplayhouse.com , info@improvplayhouse.com or call 847-968-4529 for ticket orders.
