MainStreet Libertyville's Victorian Tea

St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in downtown Libertyville across from Cook Park is the setting for MainStreet’s 18th Annual Victorian Tea to be held on Dec. 1 and Dec. 8, 2012 at 11 am.   A perennial sellout, the Tea has become a holiday tradition for many area families. Considered an authentic high tea, tasty finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, a selection of delicious pastries and specially blended teas are served by hostesses in traditional Victorian costumes. The cost is $30 per person before Nov. 16; $35 thereafter.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling 847-680-0336 or online at “event calendar, Dickens of a Holiday” at www.mainstreetlibertyville.org.
