Schwinn will explain how bicycle design and fabrication changes reflect trends in how and where bicyclists are riding. In 1971 Schwinn started to work for the family business, Schwinn Bicycle Company, founded by his Great Grandfather Ignaz Schwinn in 1896. Then in 1993, he co-founded Waterford Precision Cycles, a custom bicycle manufacturer located in Waterford, WI. The Waterford plant fabricates Waterford and Gunnar bicycles.
