Scholarships Available for High School Senior Women at National Panhellenic Schools

Alumnae Sorority Club offers 2 $1,000 scholarships

The Northshore
Panhellenic Alumnae Chapter is offering two (2) $1,000 scholarships to
high school senior women entering college in the fall of 2014.

The Northshore Panhellenic Alumnae Chapter simply believes
that promoting the sorority experience can open opportunities to the young
women of today.  The sorority experience
empowers women at college and beyond.

National Panhellenic sororities offer leadership, life
skills, philanthropic and volunteer opportunities that provide a training
ground for tomorrow’s leaders. Sorority
women have a higher graduation rate and are more likely to graduate in 4 years
than the general student body.

Eligibility

The scholarships will be awarded to qualified graduating
high school women, residing in the Chicago North Shore area.  Applicants will be well-rounded women who
demonstrate outstanding school and community involvement and academic
excellence. The qualified candidates must be accepted at a four-year college or
university that has National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) Sororities on its
campus.

Applications for the scholarship are due by March 15th for
the following school year to begin in Fall 2014.
Applications are available at www.northshorepanhellenic.net
and also area high schools.
