Walk to Remember / 5k Run for Hope

The 5th annual Walk to Remember, Run For Hope on Sunday, Aug. 25 at Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville, IL, helps Willow House support children, teens, families and communities coping with grief and death. Our race been designated by the Chicago Area Runners Association as a CARA EMERGING RACE. Miss Chicago, Savannah Teegarden will be our special guest emcee.

More than just a fund-raiser, the Walk to Remember, Run for Hope 1-mile walk and 5K race is an enjoyable and meaningful way for families to remember someone who has died or to honor someone special. Many are making the event an annual tradition of commemoration. They can share their own stories with personal photos and videos thanks to an online pledge page that’s easy to customize.

Willow House's 5th Annual Walk to Remember & Run For Hope is sponsored by the Chicago Wolves Charities, the Ryan Briere Foundation and Kenall Lighting.
