Consumers Credit Union Announces Board Election Results

Member-Owned CU elects four Members to Board of Directors

Libertyville, IL, May 1, 2012: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $609 Million, Waukegan, IL) recently held its 82nd Annual Meeting at Key Lime Cove Resort in Gurnee.  Those attending received a comprehensive update on CCU’s performance from last year, along with the Member-owned credit union’s 2011 Annual Report. CCU President, Sean Rathjen, covered highlights from the report and outlined the credit union’s plans for the coming year.

More than 300 Members and guests attended the Annual Meeting.  One highlight of the meeting was the election of four candidates to three-year terms on the cooperative’s Board of Directors.  The newly elected Board members include incumbents Alice Clements (Buffalo Grove, IL); Kenneth Robinson (North Chicago, IL); Dr. John R. Schwab (Waukegan, IL), along with newcomer, Yale Wolk (Libertyville, IL).”

CCU’s Executive Committee for 2012 was elected at the first regular monthly Board Meeting following the Annual Meeting.  John Janezic will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, with Ann Campanella serving as Vice-Chair, while Denise Charts and Alice Clements were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.  Joseph Rajcevich rounds out the Executive Committee as Chair of the Supervisory Committee.
