Uncovering and Preserving the Bounty of Lake County (Forest Preserves) Feb Gardeners of Central Lake County program

"Uncovering and Preserving the Bounty of Lake County" presented by Ann Maine, President of the Lake County Forest Preserve District

Join us for a talk on the landscape of Lake County as represented in our preserves; Ann Maine will present a program on the ecology and natural history of the preserves.  Special focus will be on the Forest Preserves restoration efforts in the southern Des Plaines River corridor.

Following the free program, meet and mingle with members of our garden club.

The Gardeners of Central Lake County meet monthly on the 2nd Monday and host interesting and informative programs including a plant competition at each meeting.  Open to the public- Guests are always welcome, no gardening experience necessary!
