GLMV Chamber of Commerce Names Ray Mullen New Executive Director

The Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV) Chamber of Commerce announces that Ray Mullen, of Mundelein, is its new Executive Director. R

The Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV) Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Ray Mullen, of Mundelein, as its new Executive Director. Ray begins work officially on Monday, February 4, and attended the GLMV Winter Gala January 26 at Cuneo Mansion & Gardens, where he was introduced by 2013 Chamber Board Chairman Don Peterson.

An experienced sales executive and small business owner, Ray Mullen comes to the chamber from MarquipWardUnited, an international manufacturer of machinery for the corrugated box and paper converting industries. Ray is well known in the community, as the former owner of Debbie’s Floral in Mundelein, and has served as past president of both Mundelein Vernon Hills Rotary and Mundelein Community Connection. 


"We are extremely pleased that Ray has agreed to serve as our Executive Director," said GLMV Chairman Don Peterson, Marketing And Sales Services. "He brings a tremendous amount of experience to us that will be particularly valuable for serving the Chamber and business interests.” 

"I am extremely enthusiastic to serve as the GLMV Executive Director," said Ray. "There is no better business community to be part of than the GLMV. I look forward to meeting with business owners, leaders, members, and helping the Chamber continue to grow in membership and services."

Mullen attended Bradley University and University of Cincinnati. He replaces Alese Campbell, who left the Chamber after two years in the position to join Shaw Media.
