A Libertyville-based GoFundMe campaign is aiming to raise money for the people affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Roxanne Muzones Tobiaski founded the GoFundMe "Help Typhoon Victims in Northern Panay" page on Nov. 14.

Tobiaski wrote that "we are fortunate that our family in Iloilo City was spared from the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan." She's hoping to raise $37,500, however, for 300 families who were impacted in northern Panay.

As of Dec. 4, 37 people had donated $6,145.

To donate to Tobiaski's cause, visit her GoFundMe page. You can also search for other local causes in need of donations.
