Growing up I always heard a comment from my father, "Be thankful that you have a roof over your head". Being a parent now, I have caught myself saying that same phrase to my own children. The more I think of that term, the more I thought about it in the wonderful world of construction. It makes a lot of sense. The roof is one of the most strongest and important structures to have when owning your home. Something that also needs to be addressed when purchasing a new home. If a roof is not structurally built to weather through the storm, down the road not only would you have the cost of repair, you more likely will have the cost of repair to the interior of your home as well.

A roofing contractor that has a warranty standing by their work, is a guarantee they will be around to honor it is more likely than a contractor that could potentially be out-of-town to "out of business" down the road. Then what good is that warranty?
