Enjoy the Summer months by taking that empty outdoor living space and turning it into entertainment for family and friends!

Turn your outdoor living space into an area of entertainment amongst family and friends. That personal investment can be a financial one in the future! Learn why...

Did you know the average spending on a vacation for a family of six people having a four night stay at a hotel is $3000? That is not even including any food or activities according to a statistic from CNN Money in January 2011. Other statistics show vacations, depending on your budget and where you travel can range anywhere from $652 all the way to $7000. Of course your family will have a great time and there will be amazing memories, then again, where is your investment that you can have memories and enjoy entertainment in your own home? The prices of gas go up, travel gets more expensive, and our salaries remain the same. What is it that we can enjoy and do, to make the Summer with our family a reason to stay home and enjoy our home just as much as we could get out of enjoying a vacation? "Outdoor Living" at it's best!

Professional Builder quotes, "Outdoor living remains one of the fastest-growing segments of residential construction. As homeowners look to extend living and entertainment spaces without greatly impacting budgets, more are choosing to build out formal outdoor spaces. Increasingly, buyers and homeowners are demanding more sophisticated features that can serve their needs year-round. This trend is evidenced by the growing popularity of outdoor-specific appliances, covered patios and decks, and fire pits/fireplaces. These are just some of the trends pulled from our 2012 Outdoor Living Survey". Many homeowners find that they have much empty space outside their home that they never utilize. I mean, who wants to put a picnic table on plain grass with a BBQ to enjoy the loves of mosquitoes biting them while eating a nice evening dinner in great weather? We can have a nice basic deck with beautiful looking tiki torch candles, or maybe even a screened in porch to extend out that space outside of your home having an outdoor area you can enjoy with a look of your choice. Speaking with Holly J. Waxman, Interior Designer adds, "There are so many things we can do with that extra outdoor living space to our home that can be designed not only for Summer use, it can also be used for a 3 seasons room, even an outdoor space to be utilized all year-round taking the interior look of your home to flow beautifully to the exterior." (http://hollyjwaxman.com/) Having friends and family over to entertain is not only one memory, but several memories and a great personal investment. Down the road it can also be a great financial one too!

Extending out your personal outdoor living space can start out anywhere between $2500 to $3000 for an average wood treated deck. While screened in porches, gazebo's, and 3 seasons rooms can be a bit more expensive, it is still a moment you can capture in time not only once, but for many years. An improved look to the outside of your home that you can have for a lifetime. Now is the best time to start thinking about what it is you can do to make your outdoor area an enjoyable one. Then, down the road, you can take that vacation when prices go down, and still have a beautiful outside entertaining structure to come home and use.
