Libertyville Boys Lacrosse heads to the FINAL FOUR!!!
Final Four Boys Lacrosse - Here Come The Wildcats!
The Libertyville Wildcats (15-4) came out firing on all cylinders in this Elite 8 match up against Glenbrook – North. The CATs were upset last year by GBN in the Elite 8, but it was Libertyville’s turn this year to be the spoiler.
The offense was lead in scoring by Nick Ward and Nick Bagatti, both with 2 goals. The swarming defense was lead by the great physical stick play of Eric Harper and Ethan Miller. All-State goalie, Cole Blazer, stepped up with 26 saves to keep GBN under 5 goals.
This win puts the Cats in the State Final 4. The last time they achieved that goal was in 2004, when Steven Brooks (All-American at Syracuse) lead the Wildcats to the State Championship. What an exciting season for the Wildcat lacrosse team!!
