Wildcats Lose to Scouts 6-5

The Libertyville Wildcat boys lacrosse team travelled to Lake Forest on Wednesday night with high hopes for a repeat victory against the Scouts.  Unfortunately, they came up 2 goals short of a win with a score of 6-5.  Nick Ward racked up 2 goals while Zach Labrum, Zach Friedman and Phil Santi had 1 goal each.  Labrum also added 2 assists and Friedman 1 assist.  The Wildcats were unable to take advantage of Scout penalties and struggled to score in man-up situations.  The defensive line did their best to keep the Lake Forest offense in check with goalie Cole Blazer saving 12 goals.   The Wildcats will host Lyons Township on Saturday at 11:00am at the LHS Stadium.
