$10,000 Anonymous Gift to Shop with a Sheriff

Yesterday the Lake County Sheriff's Association received a substantial donation towards the Shop with a Sheriff event to be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.  A cashier's check in the amount of $10,000.00 with the following message was mailed to the Lake County Sheriff's Association:  "Please spend smart for the kids."  As you can imagine the Lake County Sheriff's Association and the Lake County Sheriff's Office is at a loss of words.  Thank you cannot begin to express our gratitude to the anonymous donor.  This time of year is truly a time for giving.  Over a 100 children will benefit from your generous donation for warm winter clothing, simple items many take for granted.
