Lake Villa Man Charged with Battery
On April 10, 2014 the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert D. Wonderling, 66, of the 36600 Block of Eastmoor Dr in Lake Villa for having inappropriate contact with a female employee of the Antioch Fire Protection District resulting in a battery charge of insulting and provoking nature.
On April 9, 2014 the female victim reported to a coworker that Wonderling had inappropriate contact with her while she was working at Antioch Fire Station 3.
Wonderling is an Antioch Township emergency services volunteer.

Wonderling’s jail bond was set at $1,000.00. He was released from custody after posting 10% of the required bond.
Wonderling is scheduled to appear in court on April 28, 2014.
