Sheriff Curran hires three Deputy Sheriff's

Sheriff Mark C. Curran Jr. is pleased to announce he has hired 3 individuals as lateral transfers from local law enforcement agencies.  Ari Briskman, Tina Cora, and Michael Nudi were sworn in as Deputy Sheriff’s this morning by Lake County Clerk Willard Helander.

Ari Briskman has a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University in law enforcement.  He was a police explorer with Lake County Sheriff’s Explorer Post #2066 for 3 years and a former Lake County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit deputy.  He spent 2 years as a police officer with Round Lake Park police department and over 3 years as an officer with Antioch Police Department.  He is from Highland Park. 

Tina Cora spent 6 years as a telecommunicator with Niles Police Department.  She spent 4 years as a police officer with Hawthorn Woods Police Department.  She also spent over a year assigned to the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force and is a juvenile officer.  She is from Niles.

Michael Nudi was a police explorer with Lincolnshire Police Department for 4 years.  He spent 2 years as a telecommunicator with Mundelein Police Department.  He then worked as a Community Service Officer at Lincolnshire for 2 years before spent 5 years with Lincolnshire Police Department as a police officer.  He is from Buffalo Grove.
