Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society presents Local Legends 2012.  This year's Local Legend, John Bryan will be interviewed by Bill Kurtis on Saturday, October 27 at 4:00 PM at the Lake Forest High School Raymond Moore Auditorium.

Meet the man behind Lake Bluff’s Crab Tree Farm.  From Millennium Park to Orchestra Hall to the Farnsworth House, John H. Bryan’s dedication to culture and preservation is revealed throughout Chicago’s landscape.  The retired CEO of Sara Lee, Mr. Bryan’s business acumen has propelled him to the world stage through the World Economic Forum and NATO.  His prestigious American and English Arts and Crafts collection, housed locally at Crab Tree Farm, attracts admirers from far and wide.  Discover the story of this modern-day Renaissance man.

Bill Kurtis, an icon in the world of journalism, will interview Mr. Bryan about his life, his work and his collections.
