Cynthia Ione Wells Owned Construction Company, Loved Acting

Services have been scheduled for Cynthia Ione Wells.

Cynthia Ione Wells, 61, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

She was born Oct. 23, 1952 in Chicago, and was a former Libertyville resident, living in Wauconda for the past 10 years. Cindy was the owner of the construction company Sunset Exteriors Inc., and was also employed by Pioneer Press in Libertyville, a member of the Jr. League of Evanston, and was head coach to her son's Libertyville Little League. She loved politics, advertising, storytelling and acting. Cindy enjoyed being a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her four children, Carey Ione (Jonathan) Bigler of San Francisco, CA, Michael John Kempski of Libertyville, Catherine Mary Kempski of Palatine and Matthew James Wells of Wauconda; two grandchildren, Mia Ione and Giovanni; and her Father Paul Wells, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Jean Wells.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Ave. Libertyville. A visitation will follow Mass from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (1 block west of Milwaukee Avenue), Libertyville.
