David F. Pflug, 71, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at his home in Bristol, WI.
He was born Oct. 12, 1941 in Des Plaines, raised in Libertyville where he was a 1959 graduate of Libertyville High School. He was a former co-owner of Profile Gear in Libertyville and moved to Bristol, WI in 1999.
Dave enjoyed baseball, was a White Sox fan and a former Mundelein Little League coach. He loved live music, playing pool, golf, and being outside doing yard work.
Surviving are his wife Tess Pflug of Bristol, WI; his daughter Micki Pflug Mounce (David) of Mundelein; grandchildren; Greta and Aiden Mounce; sister, Marge (Dan) McCormick of Fox Lake; and his brothers; John (Trish) Pflug and Bob (Corinne) Pflug, both of Mundelein. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eleanore Pflug.
A visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. For info: 847-362-3009.
