Gayle L. Para was 'Loving, Wise, Patient'

Gayle L. Para, 59, of Long Grove, passed away Wednesday, March 27 unexpectedly at her home.

She was born June 26, 1953 in Chicago, where she graduated from St. Scholastica High School in 1971. Gayle went on to graduate from DePaul University in 1975, where she met her college sweetheart and future husband. She was employed by Condell Medical Center System for over 10 years as she was always committed to helping others. Gayle was a member of Santa Maria del Popolo church in Mundelein. She was Loving, Wise, Patient, Compassionate; and loved by everyone. Gayle took particular joy from the family's three dogs (Penny, Toto and Mia); and their cockatiel, Spanky.

She is survived by her Husband Gerard A. Para of Long Grove; her two children, Eric (Felecia) Para of McHenry, and Teresa Para of Long Grove; her brother Thomas Keegan of Chicago; Mother-In-Law Bernice Para of Woodridge, IL; and by her Uncle Tony Eberhart of Chicago.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Santa Maria del Popolo Church, 116 N. Lake St. (Route 45), Mundelein. A visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176 one block west of 21/Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville, IL 60048.
