Mary Elizabeth Mueller Loved the Chicago Cubs, Reading and Baking
Services have been scheduled for Mary Elizabeth Mueller.
Mary Elizabeth Mueller, 92, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at her home in Antioch.
She was born July 24, 1921, in Dover, Ohio, and was a former resident of Chicago and Fox Lake. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, her computer, the Cubs and baking.
Surviving are five children, Karla Lee (Martin) Kanzer, Thomas (Pamela) Mueller, Janet (Stephen) Smith, Kathryn (Dennis) Golemba and Michael (Anna) Mueller; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Lee Hawkinson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Heinz Carl Mueller in 2002; by her brothers, John and Ralph Whiting; and her granddaughter, Karla Ooley.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Avenue), Libertyville. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the funeral home.
