Mary Lynn Hale was Avid Gardener, Accomplished Artist

Services have been scheduled for Mary Lynn Hale.

Mary Lynn Hale nee Drecoll passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at her home in Grayslake. Lynn was born in Libertyville in 1943 and was a graduate of the class of 1961 of Libertyville High School.

Throughout her life, Lynn always had a keen sense of style. She was an accomplished artist, an avid gardener, a great cook and a skilled bridge and euchre player.

She is survived by her sons Bret (Nancy) Hale and Jason (Tanya) Hale; her grandchildren Hillary, Griffin, Hailey, Emery and Colby; her brothers Greg (Karen) Drecoll, Tim (Sue) Drecoll, Cam (Joan) Drecoll and Steve (Pat) Drecoll; and many nieces, nephews and many great and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Al and Ida (nee Dugan) Drecoll.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville (Route 176, one block East of Route 21) where her family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of service.
