Obituary: Donald T. Morrison, Jr.

Visitation will be held May 22 for Donald T. Morrison, Jr. of Green Oaks.

Donald T. Morrison, Jr., 84, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 peacefully at home with his family.

He was born Sept. 7, 1928 in Chicago was a former resident of Deerfield and has lived in Green Oaks for the past 12 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Pacific Theatre on the U.S.S. Algol during the Korean War. He was a life time Waukegan Trial Attorney at Morrison and Morrison and past president of the Lake County Bar Association. He was a Fellow of American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of numerous organizations including a past Grand Knight of the Deerfield Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife Danielle Morrison of Green Oaks, 10 children; Joseph (Hon. Julie) Morrison, J.D., Sheila (Mel) Smith, J.D., Mary Ellen (Tom) Murphy, B.S.N., Kathleen (Hon. Ray) Collins, B.S.N., Eileen Morrison, M.D., Margaret (Jim, J.D.) Borcia, J.D., Frances C. Morrison, M.S., Donald (Ellen J.D.) Morrison, J.D., Denise Breyne (David Grace), Mario L. Breyne, 20 Grandchildren, and one Great Grandson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine in 1975 and by his Grandson, Antonio "Tony" Borcia in 2012.

A visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
