Obituary: James D. Hall

Services have been scheduled for James D. Hall.

James D. Hall, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Advocate Condell Medical Center. He was born Aug. 31, 1943, in Waukegan, and had been a Libertyville resident for the past 41 years. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and received his master's in education from National-Lewis University in Chicago. Mr. Hall had been a teacher in the Deerfield School District for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish and was a founder and member of the Libertyville Fishing Club since 1971. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Marie "Mim" Hall (nee Carani); three children, Dana Blakeman of Libertyville, Michael Hall of Antioch and Rebecca (Alan) Kirgan of Grayslake; four grandchildren, Jeanne (Bruce) Brousseau and Betsy Hagan; and brothers, Barry Hall and Joe (Susan) Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Hall. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville. Memorial contributions can be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project, in his memory.
