Nello Pagliai, 89, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at the Winchester House. He was born Sept. 16, 1923, in Macon, MO, and had been a Libertyville resident for most of his life. Nello enjoyed his bowling leagues and was a former truck driver for S & S Disposal, Ray Schramer Materials and Peter Baker and Son. Surviving are his wife, Betty Pagliai; two children, Patricia (Michael) Rogge of Twin Lakes, WI and Al "Nello" (Lauren) Pagliai of Libertyville; five grandchildren, Beth (Billy) Rios, Chris (Dale) Krause, Nicholas Pagliai, Nathan Pagliai and Maeve Rizolo; two great-grandchildren, Carissa and Melissa; and sister, Louise (Paul) Quillman of Libertyville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Fritsch; and brother, John Pagliai. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
