Self Defense or Victimized by lack of Preparedness?

Conceal Carry of a Firearm is finally, now legal in Illinois. It has been over 50 years that Illinois has had an Unconstitutional Ban on the Conceal Carry of any kind of self defense weapon. This has left millions of Illinois women defenseless against Robbers, Rapists and killers. Today, a woman in Illinois can obtain a Conceal Carry License and defend herself and her Family against a violent criminal attack. I am seeing more and more women taking the steps needed to obtain their CCL and being Trained in self defense tactics, in case an attack were to happen.  As a Married man, with three Daughters, I welcome this change of attitude and reliance on others to protect you. Today's women are out front in the fields of business and politics, no longer restrained by the social barriers of yesteryear. It only makes sense that they would take steps to insure their safety against attack. Nobody wants to have to shoot another person, but nobody should be a victim either. It is a conscience choice we all have to make... will we take action to defend ourselves or will we submit to whatever the criminal wishes to do to us?
