Kopel is a brief little book that is only 44 pages long but is simply full of facts and data, that disputes and corrects a lot of the myths that we have been told by the media and Anti-Second Amendment Advocates. David B. Kopel is an associate policy analyst at the Cato Institute and a professor of Constitutional Law at Denver University, Strum College of Law. We forget that the African Americans that were freed after the Civil War were not treated well by some of the folks in the South and that is an understatement. The Fourteenth Amendment was created to insure that no state could violate the civil rights of Americans.
