Found in pretty rough shape, matted and with injured eyes, Save-A-Pet was there for me.

As soon as I got there, I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything. I spent some time in a loving foster home and my foster mom wrote a detailed account of my stay with her.

While I have very limited vision (I lost one eye), I can find my way around pretty easily. I do not like cats or small animals and don’t seem to care too much about other dogs. At the adoption center, I share a room with another little dog and we do fine together. I pretty much ignore him. My foster mom said I am very sweet, ride nicely in the car and just adore being held. While I leave the kitchen garbage can alone (even if it has meat scraps), I am a bit addicted to tissues and discarded junk mail. I’ll give them up with no problem though.

I enjoy being brushed and even smile. The groomer also said that I was a complete sweetheart during bathing, shaving and nails clipping. As my vision is limited, I would prefer a home with older kids and that loves to go out on walks.

This Lhasa Apso mix is about three years old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots and rabies, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. New Year’s Resolution: adopting a pet…we make it easy, just come and meet him and all his friends at our adoption center and read all their stories at http://www.saveapetil.org/.
