Coroner Identifies Victim in Fatal Crash on Route 41

Alcohol was a factor in the accident that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man, Lake County's coroner said.

Alcohol played a role in a crash that took the life of a 20-year-old Gurnee man early Thursday morning, according to the Lake County Coroner.

Coroner Thomas Rudd identified the victim as Lance Nazario. He said Nazario was driving the car that police said left Route 41 and crashed into trees and rolled over north of Westleigh Road in Lake Forest.

He was not wearing a seatbelt, Rudd said.
