Lake Co. Couple Accused of Selling 'Molly'

An Antioch husband and wife entered not guilty pleas Wednesday to allegations that they possessed and sold "Molly" out of their home, according to the Daily Herald. 

Alexander Story, 24, and his wife, McKensie, 23, are charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver—two of the charges are class X felonies that carry a maximum 50-year prison sentence while the third is a class 1 felony, which carries a maximum 15-year sentence, according to the article. 

Police arrested the couple on Sept. 17 after police confiscated 42 grams and 650 capsules of MDMA, or Molly; one gram of DMT, 4.39 grams of cannabis and 15 square of LSD, according to the Daily Herald.

MDMA, also commonly referred to as ecstasy, is a drug that is sold either as a pressed pill taken orally, or as a powder that is snorted or swallowed, according to the Drug Policy Alliance website. The drug is typically used in "social settings, especially among the rave and dance club cultures,"a according to the Drug Policy Alliance website.
