More Vehicles Burglarized in Libertyville

The latest burglaries occurred in the Heritage area.

Residents reported Oct. 25 that a number of vehicles were burglarized the previous night in the village's Heritage area located west of Brainerd Avenue and Route 176, according to Libertyville Police reports.

Vehicles at two residences on the 300 block of Laurel Avenue were burglarized, along with vehicles on the 200 block of Elm Court, the 100 block of West Maple Avenue and the 300 block of Homewood Avenue.

Police said most of the vehicles were unlocked and either located in the driveway or garage. While no vehicles were damaged, many items were taken, including: a Pantech computer, a briefcase, an iPod, a dark brown Coach purse; cash; and coins.

Vehicle burglaries were also reported between Oct. 16 and 20.
