Police Blotter: Alcohol, Battery Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests from Dec. 16-23.

Alcohol

Alberto M. Ramirez, 30, of 635 Swan Drive, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 16 near Butterfield Road and Route 137. He was also cited for making an improper turn. He was also cited for making an improper turn. He was released on his drivers license and $1,000 cash bond pending a Jan. 4 court date.

Regina Asbrock, 45, of 607 Bordeaux, Court E, Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 18 near Route 45 and Winchester Road. She was also cited for DUI over .08 and improper lane usage. She was released on her drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a Jan. 4 court date.

Robert W. Griffiths, 22, of 1907 Country Drive No. 304, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 22 on the 100 block of Lake Street. He was released on his drivers license and a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 11 court date.

Efrain Gutierrez, 33, of 3138 Martin Luther King Drive, North Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 22 near Route 176 and Ashbury Lane. He was also cited for not having a valid drivers license, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 11 court date.

Elizabeth Ibarra, 20, of 227 W. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 22 near South Milwaukee Avenue and Golf Road. She was also cited for DUI over .08 and improper lane usage. She was released on a personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 11 court date.

Shannon N. Wanland, 21, of 117 S. Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 23 near Butterfield and Winchester Roads. She was also cited for DUI over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol, disregarding a traffic control device and improper lane usage. She was released on her drivers license and a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 25 court date.

Rachel E. Best, 27, of 7009 60th Ave. Unit G4, Kenosha, WI, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 23 on Milwaukee Avenue near the entrance to Adler Park. She was also cited for DUI over .08, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 11 court date.

Battery

Nathan D. Hess, 32, of 3119 Lebanon Ave., Zion, was charged with battery Dec. 22 following an incident at Morgan's Bar. Police said the incident involved a verbal altercation that turned physical. Hess was released on a $120 cash bond pending a Jan. 9 court date.
