Police Blotter: Alcohol, Warrant Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests from Dec. 22-29.

These incidents were among the official reports of the Libertyville Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Alcohol

Nick Daddono, 53, of 808 E. Rockland Road, Libertyville, was charged with felony driving under the influence of alcohol while revoked for DUI Dec. 28 on Milwaukee Avenue. Police said Daddano was seen driving into the side of the Jiffy Lube building at 445 S. Milwaukee Ave. and then striking a tree in the lot before proceeding to the Downing's Bar parking lot, 431 S. Milwaukee Ave. He was cited for felony driving while license revoked for DUI - second offense, felony DUI - third offense, obstructing identification and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was also wanted on a Cook County warrant. He was transferred to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing and extradition to Cook County on the warrant.

Raymond Casmir Trelka, 20, of 928 Quaker Hill, Libertyville, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor Dec. 29 after being seen drinking outside of the Island Tap, 112 E. Cook Ave. He was also cited for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 15 court date.

Santiago A. Abarca, 32, of 69 Lincoln Ave., Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 29 near Park Avenue and Hawley Street. He was also cited for DUI over .08, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 24 court date.

Traffic

Lamont B. Jones, Jr., 53, of 2707 Theresa, Waukegan, was charged with driving while license revoked - a Class 4 felony - Dec. 22 near Milwaukee Avenue and Wright Court. He was also cited for unlawful possession of cannabis, open transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was transported to the Lake County Jail to await a bond hearing.

Warrant

Pablo Maravilla Lopez, 30, of 224 N. Archer, Mundelein, was arrested Dec. 23 on a Lake County warrant. He was also cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI over .08, driving while license suspended, not having a valid drivers license, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving without headlights when required. He was released on the local charges on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 24 court date. He was transported to the Lake County Jail on the warrant.
