Police Blotter: Battery, Disorderly Conduct Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports recent arrests.

Alcohol

Samantha L. Reuter, 31, of 320 W. Division St., Mundelein, was charged June 23 with driving under the influence of alcohol near Church Street and Brainerd Avenue. She also was cited with improper lane use. She was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a July 13 court date.

Christopher K. Campbell, 28, of 746 Noel Drive, Mundelein, was charged June 23 with driving under the influence of alcohol near North Milwaukee Avenue and School Street. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a July 27 court date.

Battery

Lee A. Ward, 53, of 5207 S. Wolcott Ave., Chicago, was charged June 17 with battery on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. Police were called to the scene on a report of 20 people having a verbal argument. Police said Ward was arrested after several witnesses said he struck a young woman in the face. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 20 court date.

Mario Gonzalez-Leon, 32, of 223 Colony Court, Vernon Hills, was charged with battery on the 100 block of East Cook Avenue after police were called to a bar on a report of a fight in progress. He was released on a $120 cash bond pending a July 18 court date.

Disorderly Conduct

Two Libertyville residents were charged June 18 with disorderly conduct in a parking lot on the 600 block of West Park Avenue. Police said a resident saw the two individuals — Justin M. Hogan, 36, and Jason S. Raney, 36, both of 619 W. Park Ave. — wandering in the parking lot. Both men were released on $120 personal recognizance bonds pending a July 11 court date.

Traffic

Roberto Nunez-Solis, 29, of 1606 10th St., Waukegan, was charged June 20 with driving while license suspended on North Butterfield Road near St. William. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 20 court date.

Francisco Arriola, 24, of 523 Greenwood Ave., Waukegan, was charged June 23 with driving while license suspended near Route 137 and Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 18 court date.
