Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Alcohol Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests and crimes from May 29 to June 3.

Disorderly Conduct

Three individuals were charged with disorderly conduct May 29 at a restaurant on the 1400 block of Peterson Road. Police said they were called to the restaurant on a report of three intoxicated individuals yelling and shouting at customers and employees. When they were told the police had been called, the three individuals fled but soon were located nearby, police said. Arrested were: Chad M. Cupal, 32, of 181 W. Arden Lane, Round Lake Beach; Josh Lee Herion, 32, of 415 Stevenson Drive, Libertyville; and Ryan K. Cupal, 30, of 121 Johnson St., Libertyville. All three were released on $120 cash bond pending a June 21 court date.

Alcohol

Two individuals were arrested on alcohol-related offenses after a traffic stop June 1 near St. Mary's and Old Rockland roads. Claire E. Jaeger, 21, of 150 W. Austin Ave., Libertyville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use. She was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a July 6 court date. A passenger, Jessyca L. Scarpone, 20, of 14688 Old Rockland Road, Green Oaks, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a July 18 court date.

Jenna E. Jones, 25, of 1890 Admiral Court, Glenview, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol June 2 on the 900 block of South Milwaukee Avenue. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a July 20 court date.

Four individuals were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor June 2 on the 1300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. Police said they stopped to talk to the individuals after seeing one of them vomiting. Arrested were: Macarthur F. Scully, 19, of 790 Hanley Drive, Antioch; Orlando Favors, Jr., 18, of 160 W. Lincoln Ave., Libertyville; Joseph V. Corrigan, 20, of 1353 Dairy Lane, Mundelein; and Adam M. Michniak, 19, of 8 N. Chestnut Court, Hawthorn Woods. All four men were released on $120 personal recognizance bonds pending a July 18 court date.

Traffic

Asael Bueno-Lara, 29, of 101 S. Butrick, Waukegan, was charged with not having a valid driver’s license June 2 near Butterfield and Peterson roads. He also was cited with speeding. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 18 court date.

Theft

A boy's mountain bike was stolen from the bike rack at Highland Middle School on June 3. The bike was described as a black Trek 3500 with a silver kickstand. It was valued at $470.
